Eek amiga c/c++ compiler

Hi!

I am looking for SAS C/C++ 6.50 (or newer), but I searched all the web for nothing!

I've seen Lattice C (actually SAS/C 5.10) in Amiga Emulation Nation's FTP, but I am looking for a newer version. I can't find it anywhere.

To tell the truth, I've almost got it it twice. The first time in a german site "Amiga WinUAE" at this adress:

www.winuae.50g.com

There are many files available on the site, including a 6.5 Mb file named sasc658.zip that is said to be the SAS C/C++ Compiler 6.58 (6569 KB) "Version 6.5 mit Update auf 6.55, 6.56, 6.57 und 6.58 als LHA".

Unfortunatly, the host seems to have erased all files bigger than 600K, so this file is no more!!!!!! And since the site is in German, I was unable to contact the owner, webmaster, or whatever.

Such a bad luck, isnĀ“t it?

The second time was a russian ftp where I've found a file called SASC657.lzx. It seemed to be the one I was looking for, but I believe it isn't complete. It has only 3.3 Mb, and no disk images (no ADFs, DMS, etc), just the installed files compressed.

Do you know where can I get it? And what about other compilers like StormC 3, Manx C, Aztec C???

That is all(?) Thank you!!!!

Huh?
Well, LZX files usually are for REAL Amigas with REAL hard disks, and they don't need ADFs

"Just the installed files compressed" is alright. So I can make a HD-image of it (HDF) to work with using WinUAE.
And yes, it is complete

BTW:

Just found the 6.58 upgrade patch for 6.57 on Aminet.

Now look at THAT:

SAS/C 6.58 Patch (requires 6.58)
Yes, oh yeah, a patch to version 6.58 which requires 6.58, too.
Heheh, good one :laugh
Of course, they mean 6.57.
(the correct info is in the readme)

Sure, the patch needs the 6.57 version. But it also needs the original disks... That's why I am looking for the ADF files...

There are other patches, like the one that upgrades the compiler to generate PPC code. But it needs the original disks too...

Anyway, if anyone is interested the file can be found at this address:

http://museum.babolo.ru/ftp/Amiga/C/SASC657.lzx

Going to the zone to post SAS C v6.50 for you right now. I'm sure I have newer on my Amiga, as well as the other C programs you asked about, but I am unable to access them at this time. I will try to remember them for posting once I get all that sussed out.

Sure, dude...send 'em up. I don't know if I have CanDo3 or not, but I know I don't have it here on my PC even if I do! I used to create multimedia stuff with that program many moons ago (kiosks, CD-ROM demos...even a music disk called Depeche Mods!) But I can't remember ever seeing version 3.

Floppy disk SAS C 6.58

I just uploaded SAS C 6.58 to the ADFZone.

To use it, decompress the three zip files to the same directory on the HD (inside zip folder information : D:\WinUAE\Harddrives\Applications\sc\...) and follow instructions on the file SLT_SC.NFO which is on the first zip.

The executable sc is already version 6.58.
