I put Chris Edwards Pimiga 2.0 image for Raspberry 4 or Pi400 on the FTP in the /Pimiga folder.
Its the reason I got myself a Pi400 =) Since we can't see Chris's instruction video any more, read the instructions in the file as it does not contain the required kickstart. I also put a youtube_link.txt text file in there. Contents of it pasted below. -- Here is Chris Edwards youtube channel. He is the creator of Pimiga but some idiot called amigacoffin has claimed it as his own and managed to copyright claim the instruction video: [ Show youtube player ] See Chris's youtube videos (Chris Edwards Restoration) here: https://www.youtube.com/c/ChrisEdwardsRestoration Here is another "review" of it from leepspvideo: [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by Turran; 18 February 2022 at 23:52. |

Some changes to https://grandis.nu/turransearch
When HTTP links are enabled, it will not make directories and files it can't find for some reason as clickable for direct download (as that wont work anyway). It will also show the size of the file on direct download links. Files over 700MB will no longer be clickable for direct download. It will instead link to Google drive. Interested with how many downloads you have on the files in your ~Upload folder?
At https://grandis.nu/turranuser you can see a new button called "Check download stats on files downloaded from my upload dir", providing you DO have an upload folder. Otherwise it won't show. Clicking it will start calculating how many downloads each file in your uploads folder have and rank them in a list. This takes a minute or so to process, so feel free to refresh until the data is there. You can also leave the page and click the button again in a little while to get the result from the last query. Calculations will only be done for downloads in the last 2 full years. Clicking it today will show downloads from 2021-01-01 until now, for example. It will only calculate this once every 24 hours at max. Clicking the button again before that will show the cached data. |

So here is a cool thing. Can you verify if you can open this without logging in? I suspect you need a google or youtube account to see it.
https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer...5000000002&z=2 Perhaps you have to use this one? https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/ed...mQ&usp=sharing What is it? It is a map of the world with points where people downloaded from TURRAN FTP in 2022 so far. Clicking on a dot reveals how many GB each location downloaded. It also shows how many unique IPs each location is represented of. That means that each location can be more than one user (since its not 100% exact), however, the downloaded GB displayed is the total amount between them all. How is it done? Get a unique list of IPs that downloaded anything from the FTP in 2022. For each IP, calculate how many GB it downloaded in 2022. Using ipinfo.io, get the approximate coordinates for each IP. If an coordinate has already been "found", add the GB downloaded and +1 to unique IPs to that coordinate. Export this full list to a cvs file, example Code:
LatLon,GBDown,Unique IPs 41.4995 -81.6954,55 GB Downloaded,1 41.1595 -81.4404,3 GB Downloaded,3 Share map, get link. Give link to you. Now then! Can you find your own location if you've downloaded something in 2022? =) |

I can open it up fine without logging in. Very cool feature and only 1 download link in my town which states 70GB. I'm pretty sure I havent downloaded anywhere near that amount though so it must be shared.

Both links work for me although according to the data I haven't downloaded anything which I know is wrong lol
I assume it's using the IP of my provider which is Cambridge |

According to the database, you've downloaded nothing in 2022 from the IPs I could find was used by your user. If you used the anonymous account though, its still possible its wrong =)
You can verify where your pin should be on the map. Check your external IP with, for example, http://checkip.dyndns.org Go to https://ipinfo.io and paste your IP Copy the "loc" numbers, for example 59.3294,18.0687 Go to https://www.google.com/maps and paste the coordinates into the search field. |

Old age could be playing up with my mind. I think I may have used the Google drive recently and not the FTP.
The above now shows me Peterborough "52.5736,-0.2478" |

That would explain it, sure =) Only downloads through the FTP is shown. Searching for something and downloading it through HTTP or the google drive are not logged in the same way.
But in general, getting the location from an IP is very much a hit and miss. If it did point directly onto someones house, I would not have done this map. Its fun to see a general direction. Last edited by Turran; 27 February 2022 at 20:27. |

The map is a cool feature but from a privacy standpoint, I hate it.

Still, if you want your blip removed, let me know the location longitude and latitude and I'll gladly remove it. If you want your IP or username removed from the databases entierly, I can do that as well. Doubt there is any GDPR classified info in the username and IPs but I can wipe it anyway if you want to. |
