Dungeon Master Save

Hi,

I've tried a couple of versions but can't seem to get it to save to HD. I've tried v1.0 and v1.1 from whddownload.com and nothing seems to work.

I keep get a message asking to insert a disk in DF1 however DF1 isn't enabled in WinUAE. Using latest versions of WinUAE and ClassicWB (though I did my own configuration file as I lost my old one). Disk is read/write and everything seems okay.

Any ideas?

It's a virtual DF1, it saves on the disk.2 file in the WHDLoad game folder. Save the game, then quit and resume. Works fine here.

The file disk.2 exists but everytime I save and then quit out of WinUAE then hit resume it asks for the save disk (insert save disk in df1: )

When saving it requests for a save disk (like it's ignoring the disk.2 file). Anyone have anything else I can test?

Have you tried the "Format" option ingame, before you save? You are really sure that all files inside the game folder are readable/writable? Maybe you should check the protection flags, especially for disk.2. Or redownload the game and unpack it inside Emulation.

Tried that - checked the protection bits which lead me onto another idea. Protection bits were fine but Windows was blocking the file so I unblocked this.

However the format succeeds (warns me it's a save disk) I then proceed to save again and in game I can reload. However on a restart of WinUAE it keeps asking for the save disk - arrgh!
