WinUAE - Goal! Dino Dini

HI guys,

yesterday I set up my amiga emulator following this guide:

Rom Set : killer gorilla

Many games run without issues.

I've been experiencing issues with Goal, the game starts but when the match starts the image is corrupted and I can't play

Anyone can forward to me his setting for Goal with WinUAE?

Thanks a lot for your help, I've just subscribed an account in this forum hoping I can give a contribute to this community of retrogamers!

Try Quickstart panel A500 most common + most compatible option. It is practically guaranteed to work.

Hi, me again.

I've tried many options the last night but when the game starts the image is corrupted unfortunately. The game works but I can't play

My rom version is 0.96

I had this issue also but can't remember how I fixed it at the moment...

Will check the .ADFs that I use & also my config when I get home after work.

I tried with A1200 default config with 4mb fast, CE enabled, and it works O.K for me.

Which version of WHDLoad are you using?

Oh, silly me... You're using the WHDLoad version then snake0... I should have really noticed that when you mentioned "killergorilla".

Seems my memory is failing me with my configuration. I actually use the .IPFs but if I change floppy emulation speed above 100% compatible the game will crash when you start playing a match.

Not that it's relevant anymore; just tested with .ADFs and these also work fine with the following configuration "A500 1.3 ROM, ECS Agnus, 512 KB Chip + 512 KB Slow RAM + Cycle Exact"

Tried:
... Goal! (1993)(Virgin)(M5)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SR].adf [CRC ABF25222]
... Goal! (1993)(Virgin)(M5)(Disk 2 of 2).adf [CRC F5195E26]
