Bring window to front and focus when clicked
Hi,
Whlst not strictly a CWB question, is there any util/patch that is compatible with ClassicWB ADV SP that will bring a window to the front and focus it if clicked on a la MS windows? I'm sure I came across one but can't for the life of me remember what it was called. ![]() Thanks, Ross. |

ClickToFront, the part of Workbench. If I remember well, it is in Utilities / Commodities drawer.

It's in Tools -> Commodities. 'Default' behaviour in CWB is that a double-click will bring it to front.

You can also try Window2Front which has more options and lets you bring windows to the front with a single click so it's more like Windows/OSX/Linux. http://aminet.net/package/util/cdity/Window2Front
Or if you'd prefer something a little more unusual but a little quicker if you get used to it, Meridian lets you set mouse-gestures to just about any action or command, including swapping between windows or opening a new browser tab in IBrowse. http://aminet.net/package/util/cdity/meridian |

Yeah, as TCD said, click to front is already part of the ClassicWB - it comes as part of the Mousewheel program which is enabled by default. If you choose to use another utility for this, disable the mousewheel click-to-front setting in it's tool types (by default it's in the WBStartup startup drawer) or by disabling mousewheel in the settings menu.
