Real amiga with Cybervision 64 copy in WinUAE

Heya,

I have a real amiga 4000 with a cybervision 64 card and CyberGraphX v4.3 installed.

I copied the contents over to the PC, trying to get it running in WinUAE.

It runs alright, but I can not get RTG to work and, well, cant really find any good documentation on WinUAE anywhere. Google for it and its all version 1.35 or similar (I'm on 2.6.0).

Anyway, I've enabled 4 meg gfx mem in the expansion menu. I've also copied the uaegfx and uaegfx.info file to devs:monitors and restarted, but I do not see the winuae modes in screenmode in workbench (3.9).

Any hints? Thanks

WinUAE doesn't emulate CyberGraphX, "only" Picasso96 will work.

So the reason WinUAE monitors does not show up is simply because I do not have Picasso96 installed? Got it, thanks.

Be sure to uninstall CGX before you install P96. They don't work well together.

Bad timing, about 1 week later this become finally false

(Beta only available at the moment)

Does not help OP that much because Cybervision is not supported card (only Cirrus Logic based are supported) but CGX does work now, including CGX screen dragging which may make it worth the trouble to some users

Neat! That means I can install drivers for another graphics card on the real amiga as well as the CyberVision and then use the backup to PC and WinUAE without modification? (Part from changing graphics card in the settings I guess).

Yes, if compatible cgx driver is also installed and WB install does not have any hardware specific drivers/patches/whatever installed.
