OCS and ECS

I was wondering if there's a download or a way of sorting games into OCS and ECS (and both) for WHDLoad games?

On the site, I can search CD32 or A1200 etc but I can grab a list (and downloads) for OCS or ECS. I suspect that the vast majory of games will work on both so would it be quicker trying to find what games are OCS or ECS only?

The reason I am asking is when I setup AF later on, I want my A500 to only see the OCS games, while my A500+ will be able to see the ECS folder. I'd rather not go through the HOL one by one.

Are there actually any just ECS games? I remember OCS, OCS 1mb (512/512) then AGA. Plus games that didn’t work on A500+

On HoL they are listed as being compatible with OCS, ECS or both.

I'm guessting but I think there's a small number of games that will only work on the original 500 (half a meg) but not sure. There might be a game that requires a numeric keypad, ruling out the A600 perhaps. I know some games require 1MB too. I assume these would be ECS though.

I have written a python script that parses slave structures and lists memory requirements for a lot of slaves. For instance 512k chip + 512k fast... But it doesn't list ALL slaves.

Most of the time we try to limit 1MB chip slaves to the minimum (or slaves using say 514k of memory because of some wrong access). If I can make a game run with 512k chipmem I'll do it (ex: Premiere, and others I recently fixed in that aspect). So OCS games should work on all OCS amigas (with more fast/ext ram of course).

If a game requires numeric keypad, it's still possible to patch it from whdload to fix this... Report them if you find any.

I know one ECS game so far (maybe other exists for sure) : Minskies Furballs.
You can't play it with an OCS machine even if the game loads (same if ECS Denise).
Only ECS Agnus or Full ECS.

Here is what we get :

Railroad Tycoon (all versions), for one, requires the num keypad to build tracks, hence impossible to play on an A600 which is very unfortunate.

Would love to see this patched.
