Snow Boarding Game? Really?
I have my doubts (but I always do, nevermind ) [edit] You don't happen to have this one do you? It appears to have surfaced in an ebay auction just recently. Last edited by andreas; 25 March 2004 at 08:14. |

Hmm, I don't know why google founds the word amiga near by the "Mephisto Klack" game. However, the only common thing is the word "Klack" and it looks like the logo is the same inside the game, but I have to check it when I'm home. The amiga game is snow boarding game for two players.

But NOW, as I reread it, I think I've understood it correctly this time: ABC Computer (!) doesn't only own the license for the *game*, but also the license for that substantial futuristic snow board type *device*! Makes lots more sense to me now, sorry for my dullness before. In the 70s, Milton Bradley [MB] Games had merely been known for their parlor games, when they suddenly expanded their scope from mere parlor games to electronic games as well ("SENSO (TM)", you UK/US guys might more likely remember it under its international name, "SIMON"). And just like a "mere" parlor games company may own the license for real electronical *devices*, a computer company may also own the license for both "intellectual property" (= software) and "real devices" ( = hardware, i. e. the board itself ) My error was that I was only restricting the "... Computer" in the name to computer software resp. hardware; I admit this was a bit too narrow-minded. Last edited by andreas; 25 March 2004 at 09:43. |
