WHDLoad Frontend Recommendations?
Hello all,
What would you recommend besides the X-bEnCH (which is very cool). Also, where can I download X-bEnCH small thumbnail images of games/demos? Thanks! |

Well, I am a big fan of TinyLauncher.
It is fast, doesn't require a ton of bloat for it to run and it is quite customizable. It also supports demos as well as mods. |

I just tried it: added games, and demos path (made sure they are correct) and it crashes. Every time I launch it, it is stuck at blinking cursor. Is there anyway to delete its config file, or fix it?

Edit: I think it should work flawlessly on your setup. Does it scan the paths properly, do the classy names stuff etc? |

as soon as it started scanning the paths, it crashed, and now every-time I run it: I get this A black screen, with two orange colored lines on top and bottom (with the words GiBS) with a cursor blinking on top left. Last edited by c0dehunter; 22 June 2020 at 12:09. |

Do you have the latest version? You should check your S:TinyLauncher folder, that's where the config/database files are. |

This is the URL, where I downloaded it from: http://aminet.net/package/util/misc/TinyLauncher I deleted the config file from S:TinyLauncher folder, and it runs now. I eliminated the "/" at the end of the paths, and now it seems to be scanning fine: DH1:Games/ <--Removed this "/" OK, now it correctly displays a list of my games, but as soon as I launch one, it says "Launching game (name)" then briefly shows the desktop, and goes back to the list, and no game would launch. OK, I just added my Demos collection, and most games (except a few, AGA one, I guess) seem to be launching fine. My games however, are all AGA versions, could this be the result of no game being able to launch? Last edited by c0dehunter; 22 June 2020 at 12:33. |

I also have a small percentage of the games not running in TinyLauncher (eg Battle Isle, so AGA doesn't seem to be a factor), even though when I manually go to the game icon, it loads the game as it should. |

I manged to find this video tutorial, posted on the YouTube, which is *very* helpful, and simple to follow:
[ Show youtube player ] Everything seem to be working now, except when I select a game, its corresponding thumbnail/image does not show. Is there a pack of images that need to be extracted somewhere on the iGame folder? Thanks! Last edited by c0dehunter; 25 June 2020 at 03:45. |

TinyLauncher for me: superfast. iGame I could have multiple paths for different games/demos: It merges EVERYTHING into one list. (a BIG no, no, in my book)

Ive got Tinylauncher and iGame as boot options, and I tend to use Tinylauncher more as navigation seems quicker to me.
