The longest module
As title says, what is the longest module ?
I begin with this one http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/release.php?id=40552 So, there's some other (Amiga) module longer than 14:51 ? |

I see, that's the problem
Without the real module, we can't say that it's actually the longest I should say no, it's not valid with only the mp3 available |

Don't trust the times evaluated by software. It is often misleading because they vary in interpreting Protracker commands.
Jogeir Liljedahl - Face Another Day II really is about 15 minutes long Walkman - Klisje Paa Klisje is about 10 minutes long (.lng version) Jogeir Liljedahl - Face Another Day (first one) is really 22 minutes long On my Protracker modules playlist the longest one is: Substance - Moon Project: 23:54. and some other longer than usual: Old Fart - After Tomorrow 16:30 SMT - Eternity 15:02 Dr. Awesome: Now What II 15:01 Superted - Nouve-Fantasie 14:00 |

I just checked my versions. Most players on PC/Trackers say just over 15 mins for Face Another Day II.
As far as I'm aware, there are 2(?) versions of Face Another Day, the 20:44 min version with 80 patterns, released in 98 for PC players by JL (with cia timing, tempo, pc-friendly modified) & another version with 73 patterns, plays for 22:17 (reconstructed by Gryzor). Seems, AMP has a different version as well for the Face Another Day module. Probably this is most accurate if Asle has ripped it? So, now 3 versions of it. Obviously, file compare used on the 3 versions. |

Anyone can also check how FAD 2 sounds in two ways on Youtube.
30 minutes of FAD 2 [ Show youtube player ] 15 minutes of FAD 2 [ Show youtube player ] It is clear that 30 minutes version sounds wrong and not as author intended so it is hard to count it as such. |
