Question about the WHDLoad license...

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place (docs on the website), but the license agreement for WHDLoad seems to be a little sparse.

If you register WHDLoad, can you sell your license to someone else, or is it a per person license?
Also, I'm guessing that there is no limit to the number of machines you use WHDLoad on?

It's a personal key, it has your name and address embedded within it.

I personally use my key on my A1200, my Xbox and my PC.

@th4t1guy

I tihnk it all comes down to personal conscience in the end, although you could trade your key with every tom dick and harry, and in truth there would be little any one could do to stop you other than compain ext.

I have to admit out of all the software on the amiga there are but few worth registering and of those there is one that should be considered as important as the operating system...

and for £15 smackers its not even gonna break the bank.

and to be honnest if your a little handy you can make a few whdinstalls themselfs and get a free personal key so a double winner!

over 95% of the games dont require a key to run anyway. its the best trial ware software.

in simple terms I have had more use from WHDload for £15 than I have had from Storm C professional that i bought for £100!

That's what I'm planning to do and I've already done 2 demo installs. If I find motivation to do a couple more I'll have earnt myself a key

The licence allows to use of the product once at the same time.
So you may install it on multiple machines but should not use it the same time.

Not that I'm Musashi but anyway. Any special wishes for games to be installed? If so, let me know so I don't do installs for games nobody plays anyway. Can do them once I have fixed that annoying bug in my Goal! slave. Well, requests for installers for demos are welcome too!

Might want to ask though as I don't want to tread on anyone's toes

This is well worth creating a slave for. http://hol.abime.net/4192

Car-Vup: The Final Frontier

But it would also need JoyFire2 for the Special Weapon same as the original Car-Vup slave by Abaddon.

Except for Croak I couldn't find anything, so I need your help here else I can't do much.

KG: Will have a look at Croak this weekend most probably.

I uploaded Car-Vup: The Final Frontier in to the Zone.
Hopefully someone will get it in the TOSEC eventually.

I'll look at this, something new, but don't expect joy2 support (just yet)

Go for it, it's a very easy one to do. I needed about 2 minutes for the first working slave.

I didn't release it on purpose as Bippy said he wanted to do it. I just had a look to see how hard it is so I could have told him to look for another if it would be very hard to patch. So just be patient and wait for Bippy, guess you can wait a few days more, can't you?

mad-matt could do it himself if he was that desperate

I'd like to see some examples of reading tooltypes so i could set CUSTOM1=1 to remove the 2 minute time limit in assassin, but that is OT here

Once I have fixed the bug in my Goal! slave, I'm gonna add support for Tooltypes as well. I'm gonna post the source then.
