Wing Commander CD32 save game help...

EDIT: Please, could someone upload Wing Commander AGA HD to the Zone, if he/she can normally save in their version?

I have a problem. I downloaded CD32 rip version from Planet Emulation, changed startup-sequence and everything works. But I cannot save my game. When I try it says: sorry: couldn't save game. What am I supposed to do? Create some file, directory, assign nvr to something...???

Any help appreciated...

Are you aware of the Wing Commander patch on Aminet (game/patch/WCPatch.lha)?

It was a while ago that I played the game, but as I recall this made everything straightforward.

BTW sometimes when you die its quicker to restart the game than go through the animated funeral sequence for the nth time. :-)

All right, since nobody suggested anything I can use, let us try different approach. Does anyone have installed copy of the game in which he/she can make a working save?

Edit: please, people, I just need someone to see if they can save in this game, and if yes, to post it. Thanks
