Closure: I myself was ripped off a large amount by this man so I have no choice but to tell you to avoid bitronic. My only regret is that I have defended him so long. sorry i didn't know what it really is.

"Amiga.net.pl" obviously except "Amiga" in domain name has nothing common with Amiga - this site is about nothing, more like honey pot to catch people attention but there is nothing there...

It is https://bitronic.pl now, but why they are not redirecting it seems very strange.. Did they loose the domain or someone else owns it ?

This one looks more sensible... Anyway i can recommend to raise concerns to particular tax office about improper company behavior (risk violation of the tax law which is very serious crime and tax office is very serious on this) - usually this can help a lot - even mentioning that your next step is tax office can do magic with unreliable counterpart.

I think he lost it. don't ask me how it's possible, but anything is possible with this man. at least that's how he explained himself for a while that he didn't have access to his mailbox. that is probably the domain. but this man cannot be trusted in what he says.

I am afraid my preorder of AlarCity (5 years ago) was also paid through Amiga.net.pl

I have not read through this thread about avoiding amiga.net.pl yet, but from what I can see, the domain seemed to have been left to be expired and released to someone else (than it was owned by 2 years ago):

Code:
DOMAIN NAME: amiga.net.pl
registrant type: individual
nameservers: ns1.vultr.com.
                       ns2.vultr.com.

renewal date: 2022.02.04 09:33:52
I started looking for amiga.net.pl again as I wanted to send a follow-up email to whoever who had it 2 years ago, when he would reply back to me about an offer to purchase the PDF editions (and possibly some hard copies) of the books that were available on the site.

Update:
Site is available (as mentioned above) as bitronic.pl and I got a very quick response on my remindr of the offer through chat now when I tried.

I think there are a lot of people caught up in the Alarcity pre-order shambles. Me included.

I am basically resigned to never seeing anything or that money again. It saddens me because it means that I just won't support pre-orders again, but fortunately it won't mean I don't eat tonight.
