Winuae on Linux
I find myself on Linux a lot more these days and the only thing that makes reboot to XP is Winuae/Amikit.Seeing that Linux has wine, I should be able to use it to run AmiKit but it does not work ! I made sure I have the right permissions on my AmiKit install/made a winuae config just for wine and winuae starts but just staying in the black screen forever ? Thanks !

With my new LG W2600H LCD monitor WinUAE can not pass pixel format detection (black screen, can not back to OS), maybe you have similar problem.

It works in wine, search other threads, or at least include version numbers and logs.
btw, you must be using some really ancient version if you see pixel format detection.. |

The recent stable and beta versions of WinUAE work fine with wine.
When doing something really time intensive, I noticed a that wine+WinUAE is somewhat slower than WinUAE+XP+VirtualBox. For playing games that difference does not play a role, though. |
