Searching for full GlowIcons package, please help!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the full GlowIcons package in the NewIcons format, and I was wondering if anyone knows where to get it?

I want to change all the icons in my Workbench 3.1 installations without having to install 3.5/3.9, which won't really run on my hardware very well (A600/A1200+4MB)

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it!

Try having a search through Aminet, I'll have a look for you If you cant find it, but I'm pretty sure it's there.

It's not on Aminet, that was the first place I checked of course :P Then I tried Google and only found an old link to a CD with the package on it. I was hoping someone maybe had that CD or the original package, or even a link to somewhere I can get it, or a torrent?

Hello Cammy. i dont know, if there is a Iconpack or a CD with all available Glowicons inside.

As far as I know, they are on Aminet

Look here for two big packs (for 3.0/3.1 with NewIcons):

The third link is quite unsorted, but there's plenty to find. It's where I got all of my Glow Icons from

These are not the icons I was looking for. I have ALREADY CHECKED AND DOWNLOADED the icons on Aminet and none of them are the full GlowIcons package.

Can people PLEASE stop telling me to check Aminet like I'm a complete idiot who has never used an Amiga before. Aminet is always the first place any sane Amiga user would check for the software they need, and I would only ever post asking for help if I could NOT find them myself.

The package I'm looking for is the complete, FINAL GlowIcons suit where all the icons are 46x46, not random sizes that don't align properly on Workbench. Not fan-made GlowIcons or Icons that need the 3.5/3.9 icon library. There WAS a full package of GlowIcons (the same as used in OS3.5/3.9) made in the original NewIcons format, and it's possible it WAS on Aminet years ago, but I can not find it anywhere now.

The GlowIcon Collection 2 is still available from vesalia.de:

But the first collection CD seems to be sold out...

I was kind of wondering if anyone had a freely available pack, I'm poor and can't afford to buy old icons at the moment (although I would if I could afford it).

original Glow Icons were done by Matt Chaput, you can find few of them on aminet : http://aminet.net/package/pix/gicon/GlowIcons

if all fails it seems as it is still being sold by vesalia, no one will fulfill your request. personally, i wouldnt mind a pirate copy myself ;p

Cammy, you are not crazy. On Aminet you can find partial or other packages, many for os3.5/3.9. The real GlowIcon package was released on CD 1 & 2 only and work with newicon library.
However I believe that if you have the patience to merge what is available on Aminet you can rebulid enough of them.

Unnless... you know..

My proposal: contact the original creator of those two CDs and ask him if he still is getting any money from those Vesalia sales. If he isn't, not only the Vesalia sales are illegal, he might as well end up giving you the icons you need

THOSE ARE FOR OS3.5+. not for NewIcons.
