BPPC + BVision

Hi,

I tried to emulate a BPPC and a BVision (using Winuae 5.3.0 from 2024.06.01) but Cybergraphics4 does not detect a board. showcgxconfig says that 0 graphics devices are installed and there are no BVision screen modes in the prefs tool.

Whichamiga shows three expansion boards:

2011/82
8512/110
2011/4
The second one is the emulated BPPC but not sure about the first and the last one.

(Moved from beta thread)

Make sure G-REX is also enabled. It is required because I was lazy and didn't want to add separate "mini-grex" when only BV is installed. (BV slot is sort of "virtual" G-REX PCI slot). Looks like I forgot to mention this in official changelog..

Note also that CGX4 BV driver requires v4x (don't remember exact version) of 68040/68060.library or it will silently fail.

2011 devices are UAE custom expansions.

Hey Toni, question. On my real HW A1200 I have a BPPC with BVision, but I also have a Mediator with some other PCI cards. Would I be able to emulate this setup or would there be a conflict between the GREX and Mediator?

Multiple PCI bridgeboards are not (yet?) supported.

BVision counts as connected to a GREX (even if real HW does not need it).

Thanks, that works perfectly now. Maybe a requester to inform about the need to enable G-REX would be sufficient? It's not so easy to figure that one out otherwise.

No. Permedia 2 (SVGA chip used in C/BVision) emulation was implemented by me which means no 3D. (Reasons already explained in other threads)
