RGB2HDMI rev.1.0 Video slot
Hello.
I have a little problem with RGB2HDMI connected to video slot in my Amiga 2000. First thing was the sparkles, but I mounted 47pF capacitor and it's much better. Second thing is shifted image in some programs outside a screen area. I couldn't handle with it. One of them is Sysinfo. It looks like that: ![]() I can adjust parameters, but if Sysinfo looks ok, all the rest is going partialy outside the screen. Another thing is that I quit program my screen looks like that: ![]() Does anyone have the same problem or is it normal? Maybe it is a condition of rev. 1 or my RGB2HDMI is damaged? Every firmware i used have the same issue. |

I believe RGBtoHDMI needs a HDMI display that is 1080p and support least 1024 lines.
What is the monitor you have connected to? It looks like a normal LCD monitor? |

It's BenQ BL912. Are you sure? In the RGB2HDMI menu i could select resolution 1280x1024 that is definitely not panoramic.I rather prefere normal 4:3 or 5:4 aspect ratio displays for my Amiga. It would be shame if RGB2HDMI really needs 1080p screen.

So it is a VGA based monitor - so you must be using some kind of HDMI to VGA converter. I would question this converter and screen then.
If you connect to a 1080p HDMI display, do you get any issues? |

This monitor has VGA D-SUB and DVI connectors. My RGB2HDMI is connected via DVI. I just connected via HDMI to D-SUB adapter to try, but it's the same. If I force 1980x1080 resolution on RGB2HDMI the picture is just squeezed and still can't see all of it.

Which RGBtoHDMI board do you have? It looks like you have an ECS machine - depending on the RGBtoHDMI board, you might have to have a set a jumper to set it for ECS (as opposed to OCS) Denise.
You should test it on a native HDMI display to make sure that it is working as expected. EDIT: I realise now that HDMI and DVI use the same video signals. Last edited by solarmon; 30 June 2021 at 15:16. |

I have rev. 1 for video slot in A2000. Yes, I have full ECS machine with 2MB chip ram. Jumper is in super denise position. I could take some FullHD 1080 monitor but I really don't think it will change anything.
