Leading Lap AGA full version
Hi!
I'd like to play Leading Lap on my Amiga4000, but the Planet Emu's version didn't work fully, and the coverdisk version has too few levels ;-). So, I'd appreciate if someone could upload the whole thing to Zone..?! It's good game .. |

Hey up macce2!
Leading Lap (1995)(Black Legend)(AGA)[h Bad Karma] from Planet Emulation works with no problems using WinUAE 1.2.0. Tried using A1200 (non-expanded) and A4000T (2mb Chip and 4mb FAST RAM, CPU 68040) and both runs at full speed even with all graphic options turned on (Draw distance, etc.). Obviously that doesn't help you as you wish to play it on your A4000 and here the problem lies.... I personally don't know of anyone local to me who still possess the A4000 to test why the game is not fully working, but no doubt the great guys here may be able to assist. Either that or play the game using WinUAE but yup, theres nothing like using the Amiga for true nostalgia! |

quahappy, what exactly is that second version of Leading Lap (MPV or something ?).?
Anyway, I must once more try to get the game to work. The CU Amiga's coverdisk version of game worked fully, but it's too soon completed ;-). |

The first listed at Planet Emulation is Leading Lap MPV (1995)(Kellion).zip is the one in collaboration with CU Amiga - which you have.
The others at Planet Emulation worked fine too, although I'm a little short on time at the moment to sit down and work out why LL is on 2 disks and LL MPV is on 3 as it lists them all as AGA versions when I'm sure there was an ECS/OCS version too. One difference I have noticed is that LL MPV has no options to modify graphics, draw distance, etc on the Title screen where LL does! So when I have more time I'll let you know whats what unless someone else can shed some light? At least for now, all versions work within WinUAE 1.2.0 Let me know how you get on macce2 too Last edited by quahappy; 04 June 2006 at 09:32. |
