Hey Music - Sounds of Captra

Hi there,

just tried to rip me the WOTW Tunes from the Demo Hey Music - Sounds of Captra by Supplex. Get it here:

http://kestra.exotica.org.uk/demo.php?id=6908

Winuae 2.0/Pro Wizard 1.62 saves a mod.file but neither deliplayer nor xmplay 3.5 with all known plugins could play the saved files.

as far, as i could see, the tunes

flt4/mod.intro 3
flt4/mod.intro 4
flt4/mod.intro 5
flt4/mod.intro 6
flt4/mod.intro 8
flt4/mod.intro 10

aren't in AMP, so there is work to do for the Specialists round here.

have a nice 2010

Hi,

They can't be on AMP as they are Startrekker AM (two files each).
I sent them to Modland long ago
ftp://ftp.modland.com/pub/modules/Startrekker AM/WOTW/

bonjour sylvain,

but u can't play these files with deliplayer 2.5 or xmplay 3.5.

which player do u use for them to play them in windows?

and the new version of winuae saves only 1 file, i remember the ripper in winuae 1.5 ripped two files like you did.

is there just no amigaplayer playing these mods in windows?

@Venku Skirata
You need "StarTrekker4AM" player to play this files, and also remember that the file must be named as on Modland, otherwise this music is not recognized by Deliplayer PC.
Another Note: If this music is still not playable, then "StarTrekker4AM" conflicts with an other player, which is located in your Amigaplayer folder.

I dont think, that any earlier version of WinUAE was able to rip this kind of music properly.

If you dont own the player try the attached one.

Dear Venku Skirata,

Prowiz (i.e. WinUAE ripper) doesn't rip these (I should know . It can't handle these kind of separated files. Maybe something could be done, but I'd need to understand the ST1.2 file format. So, forget about the "WinUAE rips". They are useless. If you absolutely must rip those, you'll have to do it by hand, I'm afraid.
Anyway, the files on ModLand play very well with Deliplayer. Just be sure to drag both file on it (intro 10.mod AND intro 10.mod.nt).
As for XMPlay, I don't know nothing about it, sorry. I mostly use UADE, here, which is rather difficult to best .

All the best,
Sylvain

hi and thx you two.

mai is right, the player startrekker4am is doing fine with deliplayer and asles rips, it seems to have a conflict with other players in my amigaplayers dir. just threw out all others and it works fine.

gotta find out, which players conflict with each other... or is there a list somewhere which players have conflicts with each other? i downloaded those on modland, but still have various conflicts.
