Thumbs down OK, so, got an A1200 that likes to just randomly restart its self...

A1200 with workbench 39 kickstart 39. Pretty sure the workbench is just 3.1.
Has a 4gb flash card HD installed.

It didn't used to do this, but it was up in the cold attic for about.... I don't know, 4-5 months? and now it restarts without warning no matter what software you used.

Had a fair bit of kit hooked up to her... 8mb trapdoor card (where I saw the lithium battery had run out of juice and replaced it), sampler cart, midi box.
Took all those things out and ran it clean. Left it on - went to work, came back and it had restarted its self (I know this because I had left it on protrakcer and it was back at the workbench screen when I came back)

Any ideas? PSU problem? It doesn't exactly give me any guru or red rectangle messages of death.,

I see, is that likely to be on the amiga or the power brick? both were in the loft.

Could be on any of the two, but I'd still check the caps in the A1200 for leaks and check if any chip are heating up.

Also did you try running it without all those addons? If it works without them then your PSU is probably the culprit.

Even if no noticeable leaks are present, an A1200 recap is always mandatory for a machine that's been off for decades.

This is sadly true of just about any tech using cost reduced electrolytic capacitors... This is with happens when a company is trying to save a few pennies per machines.
