IFF Anim Format
Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but it doesn't easily fit anywhere
I have a load of anims I created in Deluxe Paint 4 over the years, and have still not found something for the PC that can either play them, or convert them. IFF Anim to AnimGIF conversion would be great. Mainly for the purpose of sharing my work with friends on the net. I can get them to run UAE and the original anim, but it's a bit long winded and usually means the animation will play badly unless they have a fast PC. Does such a PC player/converter exist? Thanks in advance! |

Might as well share the 'fruits of my loins', so to speak
This is something I knocked up back in 1996, before I owned a PC. Related to PC bashing? You bet www.btinternet.com/~echo147/temp/windoze.gif (311k). p.s. Don't be deceived by the relatively small filesize, IE5 may well have a horrible time playing this back. It decompresses to over 13mb, is 640x480, and nearly has 1,000 frames. Play with a dedicated image/animgif viewer if possible. |

Worth the wait !
Old anims took for ever to compile ! I prefered using PPaints anim engine and importing [ and recolouring ! ] brushes from clip art as well as original compositions . it certainly maded presentations more interesting especialy informing the listeners this didn,t come from a mac or pc but an Amiga , look forward to more of your artistic works
