Yoomp on the Atari XE is *amazing*!!

Will the Amiga version have music in the same time as the ball hops?
(If that makes sense)

That's probably the main thing that made the game so good.
(And, can you use the Yoomp soundtrack? The C64 one was terrible, in my opinion!!)

Yes, it's a great game. There are a number of differences compared to the Atari version of Yoomp but the idea of synchronizing music with the ball movement is perfect and I'm going to do it in the same way. Soundtrack will be created especially for the Amiga version and will be a bit faster due to the faster pace of the game compared to the Atari.

The video states AGA & ECS. I bet the video is AGA. Any ECS teaser in a near future ?

ECS version will be created when AGA is completed. You have to wait a little longer.

yeah, i mean it's 25 frames though... 4mb fast, pretty lazy programming really.

*** Perhaps now you'll think twice about slagging off another developers work ***

btw, I'll be carrying on here until I'm told not to - and yes, I am a twat when poked in the wrong way. A proper evil twat.

At least add the original Atari version's music as an option, please. That track is iconic and one of the best ever written. I'm all for more pumping, serious sounding stuff but the original is just brilliant.

Also one small criticism is the teleport block which appears to instantly teleport - the Atari version was a black hole you fell into before "falling" out of its twin which was a great little anim.
