Ok, works fine again in the latest beta

Just download / extract the following into "C:\WinUAE": http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae_4400b2.7z

You shouldn't as it's still a beta, the one in post #2982 worked fine here

...but let me know if it doesn't for you.

Thanks for looking into it, but even on the latest 4400b2 the problem still exists with most enemy sprites; they simply cannot be killed no matter how many times they're shot.

It's no big deal, obviously, because I can play the WHDLoad version, but it would be interesting to work out why there's a difference between the two versions? Rather than a WinUAE issue, could it be a crack/copy protection issue?

I'm using V4.3.1 (Public Beta 0, 2020.03.07) and Agony works fine.

I am not much for reviews but I just wanted to say thank you again DamienD for this cool collection he has made available and that I am enjoying it very much.

As someone inexperienced with the Amiga I could not ask for an easier way to see what the platform has to offer.

That doesn't make sense. I actually played the game yesterday until completion

Obviously I had to have been able to shoot enemies...

@everyone; anyone else have this issue that StevenJGore reported?

I'm using the original Agony config file from the collection, no changes whatsoever. So I wonder why I have this issue? Very strange.

Now that Toni has released "WinUAE 4.4.0 Beta 3"; Super Cars works fine again

I've changed the .ADFs slightly though, so please do the following:

Today I replaced the Mousetrap .ADF with ross's uber version and a new disk that I created; see this thread for more details: A1200 Early Startup Control vs CPU to disable caches!



So, please just do the following:
  • Delete the <gamedir> "C:\WinUAE\Games\Mousetrap".
  • Download the attached and extract into "C:\WinUAE".

I've updated the configuration file for jotd's Bagman remake tonight so that the game works correctly in WinUAE 4.4.0 beta 3.

Basically there was an issue where you wouldn't pick up items properly i.e. it would drop them straight away; plus there were slight graphics glitches where the enemies left the screen.

So, please just extract the attached into "C:\WinUAE"

Do let me know if you experience any issues though...
