Think I gave this one about two 2 seconds of attention when I was a youngster.. (I was no fan of puzzlers!).
I can see why it scored well in reviews though - addictive

errr... I don't get it.

I get 3 domino's all of the same colour and that is supposed to be a Klax, right? But whether I get a Klax or not I always get 'Game Over' and score a max. of 40 points. (PS. As usual, I'm using the .ADF)

Any pointers welcome

Edit:Just seen Ze Emulatron's video on Lemon. I was missing the fire button to drop them to the 'holding zone' below!

Edit2: Grrr. Stuck on wave 3. I always ran out time before I can get even 1 diagonal, and the light/dark shades of each colour is just plain annoying.

Yeh fire button helps

Grab the manual from here http://amiga-manuals.xiik.net/amiga.php
Nothing special with my attempts yet, I try to avoid vertical stacks of 3 since they're only worth 50. Also after you pass (4 stages?) you have an option to warp to later levels and you get 200k bonus

Thanks for the manual.

Doesn't help me with wave 3 though... using the speed up option just means I run out of time faster
I guess the random colours are against me...

Just start by dropping alternating colors on the bottom row and try to build diagonally for each of the same color.. not exactly an amazing strategy but you will get it!
Things get much worse later when you need 12+ diagonals

Also, could somebody update the leaderboard please

I wish it was that easy. I have been trying that, but I don't seem to click with this game. I have done well on other puzzlers we have played in the last few years, and I've always been good at Tetris.

There was no score image on the first post of the EAB thread, even though there has been one on the Lemon one all week. I would have asked, but I didn't want to be the one that always 'nags' on week 1!

Yep, just forgot to add it in when the first score was entered onto the leaderboard... I'm always grateful for someone putting me right!

Not my game (too fast), and never understood the hype about it.

Unless I've misread the Lemon thread, I think we are allowed to use continues in this game because what the game calls 'credits' or 'continues' are actually just lives. You are given 3 continues/lives and you are allowed to use all of them. Once you have exhausted them, you get a game over screen which is the end of the game and you post your score after that.

If I'm right about that, maybe the 'no continues' could be removed from the OP and a short added line about this. I didn't realise myself until I had read the Lemon thread.
