King's Quest 3 original 1987 version
Hi,
does anyone happen to have the original (uncracked/modified) King's Quest 3 dms or adf image to share? My original is badly damaged and I'd like to write over it. I'm looking for the version from 1987, which doesn't autoboot (not 2.15 which has some other changes too). Thanks! |

I have to confess I'm not sure what that is.. Where is it available and can it be transfered to a disk?

I think there is no physical protection on disk, so it can converted to ADF and afterwards transfered to real disk.
Links to IPF images are unfortutaly not allowed in this forum, if you want i can convert to ADF and put it in the zone for you. |

That would be much appreciated!
I'm not sure if this is a copy protection, but there's a nameless file on the original disk, something like " " and it has a checksum error on it. This was on both my original and on a modified ADF copy I found on the net. This file prevents the WHDLoad installation from working with this version of the game. Either I worked from a crack (I doubt it) either protection is not active. Strange

The original, unmodified disk is protected.

Just out of curiosity:
