EAB GBA Demo

Having been learning how to program the GBA and C at the same time now since xmas I thought you might be interested to see how Im getting on.

I love the GBA. Its the first time Ive shown any interest in demo programming since the last demo I wrote on my Amiga 9 years ago.

It doesnt really do much but if anyone is interested the source code / gba bin file is in the Zone.

Heres a pic of the demo in action...

I will try it on real hardware tonight

Im trying to get a better graphic for the bobs (I have to rip all graphics cause I cant draw at all) plus Im trying to implement a z axis so the bobs get smaller ther further away they are but they dont look good at the mo.

Currently looking a GBA sprites at the moment plus studying some source for the mosiac and rotation effects.

stay tuned!!

Not bad. You're getting better.
Just tried it on the real thing and it works quite well.

Im just using devkitadv which I got from, and started following tutorials at http://www.thepernproject.com/

I looked at the HAM project but decided that I need to learn the hard way as Im learning C at the same time. (btw the Demo is the first time that Ive used pointers in C so Im quite pleased with it.)

Im all for a GBA Demo group but I wouldnt be able to contribute much as I dont have that much time (most of my GBA dev is done during 'working' hours (friday afternoon mostly)

What would be good is to do a conversion of Super Cars to play on the GBA (Saw it mentioned that someone has already started this for PC) - I would be up for that!

There's a disk of Amiga demo fonts (saved as iff) somewhere on the first 17-Bit Collection CD. Some good stuff, too.
