Oh yeah on that setup it's almost definitely a better idea to use whdload.

This is very cool, well done to all involved!

I'll try it out on my CheckMate 1500+ MiSTer FPGA computer thingy.

Very nice so far! I have never played any version of the game, but I remember a lot of hype around it for NES. I was surprised at the keyboard commands as I didn't hook up a gamepad while running it. This was before looking at the readme.

Maybe in the future? Biggest hurdle for CD32 is the save game, NVRam is pathetically small. You could probably quite easily wrap it up in some WHDload setup but would need that disabling.

That's very impressive and very interesting. But how did you keep things still working? Must be very easy to implement bugs and very difficult to track them?

Thanks for the release. Always wanted to play through Metal Gear. I can run the adf without any issues but the WHDload version doesn't seem to work on Amiberry. It just seems to reset Amiberry. Anyone else have this issue?

I'm sure someone already noticed that the main character on the box is a blatant copy of Kyle Reese from Terminator.

Great port!

Try adding NoCache to the settings. Should kick it into touch. I'm just finishing off v1.1 which will have this and a few other little things resolved.

Haha, yep that's pretty much confirmed. BTW, thanks for the CD32 pad code.
