New York Warriors (Europe) No load(disk2)
Hi there to every1 who use's Amiga's and Loves the Amiga!!
I used to have an A500 then updated to a2000.. And I totally Loved them! The A2000 got stolen a good few years back, And I lost touch with the Amiga.. But couple days back, Found an old Amiga Format mag.. And I'm back.!! Feel like i'm 12/13 again... Love It!! Anyway to the question.. Being new to the UAE, I got hold of a copy and got a game I spent many many many hours/days/weeks on.. (back in the day) it's New York Warriors.. After finding 2 different copy's, I tried to play it.. But can't get no joy.. It loads OK and then asks for the disk 2! And then nothing, just screen stays blank!! I tried putting the disk images in the Emulated drives Df0: and Df1: on quickstart.. and also putting them in the disk swapper section.. But the same thing happens!! I bet I'm just missing something dull!! But being new to the emulator, I can't see what!! So Please Please Please - Some1 HELP ME!! |

When it asks for disk 2, press F12, go to the 'Floppy drives' panel, click on '..' right to the disk name field and choose disk 2 for DF0:. Afterwards just close the config window and you maybe have to press the joystick button for the disk to load. If that doesn't work, I'll have a look later

Was there a background story to this game with regards to being leaked?
Im asking because I clearly remember obtaining a copy of this game a very long time (about a year I think) before it was released. |

Like Prince of Persia I think it was released in the US a while before they were officially distributed in Europe, which obviously meant some pesky pirates got ahold of it and released it.

WinUAE is well handy for a trip down memory lane but there's no substitute for the real thing. It gives you a warm fuzzy feeleing.
