Mouse stops moving temporarily during boot

Is it normal for an A1200 that during boot the mouse stops moving temporarily because of cpu overload even when booting Kickstart and loading Workbench or trivial things? Anyone tried to load VisualPrefs preferences on a 8 MB A1200 and see the pointer stop temporarily while it loads? I had an A500 before and I remember the pointer movement was super smooth in most things.

I ask this for comparison purposes to my WinUAE machine, but a bit also as a kind of warning. I saw in some betas from previous releases that this problem disappeared for some reason for a time but then reappeared one or two betas after.

It can be normal. Some utilities and operations will require intuition lock which will stop mouse (and all other windowing operations) temporarily.

It may or may not be that easily noticed on faster emulation, can also depends on OS version, if other utilities are installed etc..

Thank you. The problem was with a bad datatype installed in Workbench. I will reinstall one by one, to see which is causing the problem.
