Paradise Lost
I noticed this rare Turkish game that seemingly was only properly discovered and dumped recently http://hol.abime.net/6017
Does anyone have the disk images of the game? I cant find anything about it aside from the HOL page, and not even any discussion in any forum or anything. |

Wow thats cool to know. I wonder if anyone had remembered about the game before, and possibly if any collector has the original bag and disks of the game.

Great, I'm playing the first level. Scroll paralax, graphics "different"
Soundtrack very good. The collision system somewhat crude. |

Wow this game is amazing, another case of a small amiga developer putting out something better than a good chunk of the mainstream crap being released at the time. The atmosphere with the music and graphics is so cool, and the constant boss encounters and special 3d effects are quite unique.
I wonder if there is any way to skip the intro on the boot disk though? The biggest problem with the game is loading, especially considering when you die you have to start from the beginning of the game and it takes over a minute to do all the loading (even more if the game over sequence is enabled, but the game over screen is pretty cool ) I wonder if any of the original documentation scans can be provided by the author? It would be great to see those, both for preservation sake and for knowing more about the game. I figured out you can use the potion you find in stage 2 by pressing F1, but I have no idea what the torch item does. |
