20th Anniversary of Amiga Power

Twenty years ago this week (April 25th, according to the cover of issue zero) the first issue of Amiga Power was released:

Issue zero had been included with Amiga Format 22 and featured the first of six AP All-Time Top 100s:

The complete top 100 listings can be seen here:

Oh I used to love this magazine, probably because it was aimed at my age group (8/9 at the time) or it felt like it anyway. Wasn't this the only magazine to regularly have 3 cover disks? Or I'm getting mixed up with Amiga Action possibly - it was a fair while ago lol.

HOL shows AGA & ECS for colonization. Personalty I don't recall seeing an aga version when the game was sold. But then again Microprose always had their games with AGA versions as well.

Probably an OCS-AGA compatible version, maybe with some enhancements when it runs on AGA hardware.
