Aztec C 5.0a Installation issue

Hi,
i'm trying to install Aztec C 5.0a which gives me some weird error during installation:

"ERROR: can't read source file: df0:asm/exec/execbase.i"

The file itself is there and is readable. Also tried several different disks, all with the same result.

Has anyone working installation disks and can zone it?

Hi Egrath!

I can't help you with the disks, I don't have Aztec C, but have you tried running SnoopDOS (if it works for 1.3?) to see where exactly the installation is trying to find this file?

Thanks for the hint with SnoopDOS, didn't tried that. But i've found the solution right now without it. It seems that it's some kind of (timing?) incompatibility with WinUAE's floppy emulation. When using anything except 100% floppy speed, the installation fails.
