Genesis MUI?
Is this program still available? Is there any difference with the OS39 version apart from the gui?

The initial release on the 3.9 CD was still MUI based, IIRC . the Reaction GUI version was delivered in one of the updates,
I don't think it's still available. |

I think the Reaction gui is missing some of the options. I realized that when fixing the Turkish translation

From what I heard, MiamiDX is much better if you want GUI. It is even free now.
The fastest and probably best solution is Roadshow, but no GUI. |

I do not have Roadshow though. I might try it but no GUI puts me off. |

There's Roadie, though, if you want a GUI for Roadshow. http://aminet.net/package/comm/net/Roadie

I did use Miami in the dial-up ages, but then the most years of my ethernet usage I've done with Genesis, because it's been better for my use. Miami(DX) is also about half slower than Genesis, which is why I'd let it be and would use any other option. Roadshow indeed is a good, but GUIless option. So it's a compromise what you want. Genesis for GUI, speed, and static addresses, but Roadshow for speed and DHCP but without GUI. And Miami if you can afford the speed loss, but get GUI and DHCP. MiamiDX is free? Any links for a news item? |

Just a bit of off-topic here... There is a small GUI that has been developed by a third party to configure most of Roadshow parameters... Roadie https://aminet.net/package/comm/net/Roadie |
