Maybe not easy to detect:

This is not a part of "Fairytales" series.

Is it easy to fix without changing disk structure?
In this case there is real trouble with this startup-sequence, there is some garbage inside!

It would be easy but ...:
I suppose that "waste" is in reality the start command of a virus that modified the startup-sequence file.
The solution is not to fix the size of the file but remove the virus command to restore the original size.

@Crashdisk:
Another problem(2 different disks - same problem):
Quote:
C/border | 8.544|00000000|OK|OK|KO|1978.01.01 00:00|Sect 884 seq 1 => Wrong data block sequence
Quote:
C/border | 12.460|00000000|OK|OK|KO|1978.01.01 00:00|Sect 884 seq 1 => Wrong data block sequence
In this case DMS-Workshop is not able to extract corrupt file.
I think there exists no "border" command with this specific sizes, at least my scan was not succesful.
Any Idea?
Is the errror original(bad compiled disk), since all other parts of this series used "border" command with size 4628?

It would be useful to have the CRC of a ADF so I can do a test.
Anyway, Merry Christmas

I found a disk with this problem. The header and the data sectors of the files has strong anomaly (link-virus?contamination aborted?). That is why it can not be extracted.

the replacement file you used is not identical to the original file. Accordingly, "Hacked sectors" is the number of sectors in good condition you have changed (with data from the new file). It is easy to replace a file with a variant, which is why you should use this feature with caution.
Note that this notification is related to the last update DMS-Workshop!

This is just a little heads-up about another 'bad crack' alert...

Code:
Globdule (1993)(Psygnosis)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr CSL].adf - 0f6eeb73
Globdule (1993)(Psygnosis)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr CSL].adf - 51856e02
This crack has a few problems significant enough (mentioned here) that it enticed me to make a new, improved crack of the game (which I have conveniently Zoned as of a few minutes ago).
...added, mai
I don't know how you personally judge cracks bad enough to warrant a [b], so I'll leave it up to you guys.

@Crashdisk:
I have uoloaded a bunch of files to FTP.
Note: There are some files, which have different numbering style compared against existing files from the same series, i have tried to be precise, please find a general solution.

BTW: This is a good example, crc32 FABA1F9C

- Disk name : <Cracker_Journal_September>

- Rate of filling : 96.41% (based on sectors identification)
This disk has no information about filesystem creation, last root and last disk alteration, non{a] and [a] have.
Any conclusion?

If there is an inconsistency in the date formatting, information is hidden. For files, the date is set to 01/01/1978 00:00

i found a new version of EasyLedgers - I think the title should be renamed, since "about" and title-screen display "EasyLedgers Accounting".
A2 and A6 are shown as version numbers.

in tosec: Easy Ledgers (1989)(Sybiz)[cr Piranhas].adf

should renamed to:
EasyLedgers Accounting A2 (1988)(Sybiz)[cr Piranhas].adf
("about" says 1988)

new ( zoned ):
EasyLedgers Accounting A6 (1989)(Sybiz)[cr The Wizzards Inc].WRP

edit:
there is another version ( zoned ):
EasyLedgers 2 Rev C1.05 (1994)(Small Biz Software).DMS
also accounting software, different company.

Hello guys,

a contribution from me: I found a version of B-17 Flying Fortress V1.03 cracked. I will put it in the Zone for you "B17 Flying Fortress v1.03 Cracked (DISK 1 of 3).zip". Disk 2 and 3 are the same as in TOSEC right now, I checked this.

Greetings!

Yes, see Jeff virus description (from http://www.teyko.com/View.aspx?id=297&name=Jeff+v1.31)

"While altering the startup-sequence the virus uses a very aggressive solution: The space which is needed to add the filename of the virus will be cut from the original startup-sequence at the end. Take a look at the following unaltered startup-sequence of an Amiga disk:

C:SetPatch QUIET
C:Version >NIL:

After alteration by the virus (assuming Aloisius as filename) the (above) startup-sequence looks like this:

Aloisius
C:SetPatch QUIET
C:Vers

As you can see the resulting startup-sequence is corrupted because the AmigaDOS will search for a command C:Vers instead of C:Version. This means that the last command won't be processed anymore but "ignored" (infact it will raise a command not found exception to be precise)."

@ fuzzylogic
We must remain cautious about the causes of a malfunction. They do not always have the same origin but I mentioned the case of Jeff virus:
http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...postcount=1628

@ mai
I rebuilt the bootblock for "Delusion Packs #5". I uploaded the file on the FTP

@ emufan
Good find, thank you

What is the source of this disk?
The zoned version is modified or you have created complete new disk.
