head to head fighting game like Golden Axe
Are there amiga titles where you fight with swords or other non-throwable weapons like in Golden Axe, and which is playable by a 10 year old.
Also with upgradable weapons. Any recommendations? (please no Moonstone  I'd need something more arcade-like like Golden Axe)

Maybe Final Fight or Double Dragon 2 but they aren't as good as Golden Axe...

Amiga lacks good titles, completely, on that genre, and yet, you ask for specific stuff within a genre.
No my friend... except average Golden Axe (and maybe Motorhead), all other games, imho, are compete crap. You now what I think he would really like? Deliverence. It's not beat em up, it's more of a platformer, but with beautiful fantasy graphics, big sprites, and very nice gameplay. [ Show youtube player ] |

funny how someone mentionned Deliverance. It's that game that my son saw and gave him the idea to try other games. But Deliverance is pretty boring. Superb bosses, but the levels are dull.
