Is it happening while WinUAE is accessing the CD32 game through the DVD Rom device ? May be you could try loading the next game from an ISO instead. (of course, purpose of this is to determine if it hasn't something to do with access method setting in misc. panel)

Whats the spec of both machines?

Maybe its a driver problem, have you tried an earlier version?

The Blue Screen error message would help.

Are you using ASPI?

Although a bit different, your issue reminded me of this:

Cause of bluscreen is always driver or hardware bug.

EDIT: there should be device driver name in bottom part of bluescreen.

My Laptop is running same setup but with ATI card and that is running flawless too.

As for settings, im using a custom setup as I have AmigaSYS installed, and using WHDLoad for games via Killa Gorrila's WHDLoad Packs.

If I need to run an ADF, I just use the quick start, and use A500 config. Then screen res to my monitors highest and D3D filter to fill screen.
Never failed me yet. I did have a problem when going full screen, but toni fixed that months ago.

I use null filter and automatic scaling, maybe this is wrong. Also i never used AmigaSYS or WHDLoad (dont even know how to use WHDLoad).

can you run a current gen PC game (like Crysis or whatever) without any problems? BSOD can be anything from a driver problem (not unlikely with ATI) or something silly like a memory module that is not plugged in properly. I also got BSODs from a faulty harddrive for that matter.

Fact of the matter is that a BSOD is NEVER an application problem, no matter what people like to believe. The BSOD is caused in logic that is closest to the kernel (as there faults are critical enough to halt execution), which is usually a driver.

It is "guaranteed" to be some cd/dvd related driver if it happens only in CD32 mode or if uaescsi.device is enabled.

Download imgburn (freeware) and check Tools/Filter Driver Load Order for list of installed (possibly useless) drivers.

You can also attach the kernel dump file (or email it). It should show the problem if you aren't interested in capturing the bluescreen text manually

I never had 1 single BSOD in 4 years of time (running crysis, crysis warhead etc on my pc), my laptop on the other hand has a low video card and cant run crysis. But also my laptop never had BSOD. It's the emulator's problem, it also happens with ADF format.

I am talking about 2 fresh installs of windows 7, and no its not a driver problem or such. When i run winuae a few times, open/close/open/close i get a BSOD when i reload a new game (ADF, CD32)

Maybe you failed to read previous posts but BSOD is always driver or hardware problem.

If driver sucks so much it crashes when asked to do something that no other program does = it is broken.

It is always the usual case, one program causing BSOD = it "obviously" must be bug in that program. See any game forum and you'll see the exact same "bug" reports everywhere when the real problem is bad drivers or overheating cpu or gpu..
