Differences between beta versions and non-versioned winuae.zip?

Toni occasionally releases winuae.zip files as fixes in response to specific issues.
Where do these fall in the release cycle as opposed to beta versions?
I want to make sure I am testing against the latest versions and not sure to use beta13 (latest beta) or winuae.zip.

Think of them as temporary versions; many times used to validate fixes for specific problems.

After a specific beta version (such as b13) is released, the subsequent winuae.zip files will be after that beta, until a new beta version comes along. Then the cycle repeats.

So, you'll have to follow the beta thread to keep up with the changes.

Last beta is the official one, always use it first. Only use winuae.zip to report anything if I ask to test winuae.zip. It can have some temporary extra debugging or other strange features not meant for all testers that gets removed when next official beta gets released.

If you still want to test winuae.zip, make sure it is newer than last beta (very important!) and always make sure if last official has same problem.
