Lemon Amiga OnLine !
The greatest C64 site Lemon just got a little (or big?) brother :
http://www.lemonamiga.com/ I think it is well worth checking out... a great site, even though we do already have the EAB forum and HOL. It is always nice to see some healthy "competiton" |

Lemon Amiga Launched
The Lemon Amiga website has been launched!
http://www.lemonamiga.com/ It's the Amiga equivalent of Lemon64, with a database, forum and other nice features. |

I'm sure it will be of the same quality. It certainly looks similar.

I like the site, but not the forums. The good thing about the site is the interactivity, as in being able to write game reviews, vote on games etc...
Some of the voting is a bit lame and one-sided at the moment but will level out over time I imagine. I've even done some voting/game comments. I await to see RCK's response with HOL 2 |

I still can't see the forums because my country's dsl ip range is still banned. He must have been really scared.

The design seems a little kiddy for my likeing. The design suits the C64 but when focused on the Amiga seems a little out of place....

With loads of Amiga sites shutting down I think it's great to have a new one open. I've never been on that forum so I can't comment on some of your experiences.
One interesting thing however I'm not sure all of you are aware of is this site had help from the EAB community too. http://www.lemonamiga.com/help/credits.php Going by the past skirmishes, it's certainly not a full blown EAB vs Lemon war, just a minor battle. |

it's funny that just yesterday i was browsing the c64 lemon site for like the 1 time (never messed with c64 emu, neither the real thing alas!) and when i tryied to open gamepages in another browser page i got redirected to the advert of the amiga page! then 5 minutes later i was here and read that the amiga' one was newborn.
well really nice website anyway. |

I've also written a few game comments too, mainly out of boredom and because HOL doesn't allow us to do these things (yet?). I'm awaiting Kim to add the game Biplane Duel so I can write my one and only review. I spoke to **SOMEONE** yesterday and he was desperate to head on over to LA and meet all his old friends and contribute, yet it seems there are still "connection issues" between the Middle East & Sweden. Regardless of its being a joke or not, no matter how obvious, don't post fake news about me!
