Question A1200 and RCA video out - no signal

I have no signal on RCA video out, but everything is fine with RF out and D-Sub 23. Any idea what can be wrong? Dead resistor/capacitor etc?

Or cold joint on the connector leads into the mobo, or just a loose connector "live" metal or a bad cable.

Cold joint - you mean inside/behind the RCA connector?

Cable is OK - tested with A520 modulator

Where the main lead goes into the motherboard. Normal issue for a connector used a lot (insertion/removing/re-insertion).

I had exactly the same problem with my (old) A600 mobo. Too bad the Reset Timer gave up before I could repair it

A lot of capacitors had leaked on it, so it might be that, as there are some capacitors which pass on the RCA output line.

Giving a quick look on the schematics, they should be the C237 and C238, which should be near the CXA Encoder

C237 and C236 - I will check both, but first I need to order a new multimeter.

I have no idea what number is of that resistor but is located near the capacitor and the video out:

This photo was taken after I took off bad resistor.

No - I replaced it with 75ohm 1% 1206 surface mount resistor. Just took a photo after I removed dead resisor.

It looks like resistor named as R234D and it is my second A1200 where I had to repalce that resistor to get Video Out to work.
