Question Dragonsbreath.

Hi all,

I have managed to get WHDLoad working fine. I have placed my kick34005.a500 and kick 34005.a500.rtb files into DEVS/kickstart and when I run whdload i get the following error:

DOS-Error #205
(object not found)
on reading "Disk.1"

I have checked the .lha file and cannot see a "Disk.1" file ?? I can see "Disk.3" and some other files, but no "Disk.1".

Any ideas ? I tried searching for the DraongsBreath.lha elsewhere but could not find it.

Thanks for any help.

Thank you very very much for this.

I just have one further small problem though, how do i extract the files from the lzx file? Is there a seperate piece of software I need?

Thanks for the welcome too

Aha ok I found a lzx unpacker which runs under Windows. I managed to get all the files unpacked, and I can now see "Disk.1" and "Disk.2" in the directory structure, but when I run WHDLoad I am still getting the same error

Hi again.

It works fine on both machines.
So, it might be an invalid kick34005.a500 file.

I uploaded another DB-version.
Please try this one.

See you later

Aah ok. I think you maybe right. I just tried the file you uploaded to the zone (thanks very much btw) and I got the same error.

Just to be sure, I may have this wrong, but for the rom file can I just copy any Kickstart13.rom and rename it to kick34005.a500 and use it?

I manage to get the splash screen up for Dragonsbreath, but immediately after that is when i get the error.

When I started to setup all this WHDload stuff, I tried to use a kickrom 1.3 from the internet and it produces the same errors.

Then I grabbed it from my real A500 and it works!

Yes, I just renamed it to kick34005.a500!

Hey, you need to register WHDload to use this install!

http://www.whdload.de/games/DragonsBreath.html

Do you already have a keyfile?
