AmiTCP 4.0 demo limit?

Helo,

can anyone toll me what exactly is the difference between AmiTCP demo and commercial version?

Is demo version time limited, or only feature limited?

If anyone knows where can I get v4.0 full version, please PM me. I would like to compare.

P.S. Interesting thing is that it works on 68000 CPU and can be run from shell, so it does not eat resources.
Also, v3 beta does not work with Aexplorer app, v4.0 does. But I do not see any info if it is limited somehow. I need only basic ethernet functionality.

The very link you posted explains exactly what the commercial version will give you. If you have any questions about what's listed there, you need to be more specific.

The demo version does not have a time limit.

I think they changed the licence for V4 but you should be able to find it on the ftp server?
Remember to disable the finger daemon in the etc/services file?? (I can't remember if that's the name).

It is exploitable (Remote access)

Well, demo version works OK, I am just testing it past 2 hours, no limit.

Only thing is that splash screen when it starts, but not like this is my primary machine so it does not bother me much.

EAB FTP does not host v4 and above versions.

It will be on one of the Warez BBS's archived on CD isos on there.
See if you can download the directly listings and search through there.
