Wanted: WHDLoad Capability for my A1200 (Mem Expansion / Accelerator?)

I must be the only person in the world with a towered A1200 with 0 (zero) expansions.

All I have is the base memory, and the 3.1 ROMS in a Power Tower. I also have a 6gig hard drive in there.

I don't care about about Apps, graphics or anything like that. I don't really care about AGA as I wasn't an AGA owner in the day. I just want to upgrade the machine so I can play most of my fave A500 games via WHDLoad.

I'm currently in the UK for a few weeks and am thinking this is the time to do it.

So, does anybody have a suitable memory expansion/accelerator (do I need a accelerator?) they are willing to sell for a very very small sum (remember I am very poor as I have to pay to ship my A1200 Tower to my new home in Argentina

)

no need for any accelerator for old a500 games, all you need is a memory expansion

note you will need more than 2 more megabytes .. so say, 16 > 32mb just to be safe

thats all you need for whdload, oh wait ,and you need whdload

10 dollars i think

You should get an 030 anyway, it will make ALL the experience more enjoyable.

Get something liek a blizzard 030 and load it with 32MB of RAM. End of problems.
And can't you bring the tower with you instead of shipping it? I think it would be cheaper for you to buy a good condition, used, untowered, expanded A1200 and bring it with you as hand baggage than doing all this shipping crap for just a poopy power tower.
