Private Message Receipts

Can we could have this option unticked, or an option for it not to be pre ticked. An opt out for all, that don't need PM receipts sent or received.

Just came across this thread while searching for a way to generally turn the request for reading receipts off. I also keep forgetting to untick the 'receipt' thing and it always reminds me of hardly likeable Outlook power users I had to deal with in my daily jobs. "Just sayin'"...

I never even noticed the option. But what's the problem here? Unless everybody but me always unticks the option, you don't have to manually confirm anything (at least I never noticed). The receipts aren't regular messages either and only appear on a separate dedicated page. So why not just ignore them?

yeah, receipt did'nt ask anything to member, it's just one internal tracking option to know if your PM was read. On by default, no option to change this sorry
