No idea how prices are down under, but here it generally goes like this:
Amiga-500 are very popular here, but I have never seen another one of the early model I sell which had a different keyboard with keys being moe flat, and there is still a C= key on the left side like the C64 had
Amiga 600 are not that rare (but very hard to find boxed !! even in Germany where they are very common)
The A-1200 is not very common here, shows up on Ebay about 1 time in 2 month and often goes beyond 100,- GBP
And the A-590 is quite rare as well and is usually sold for 50,- GBP or more over here.

No idea, maybe they are cheaper in other countries ?! I will wait a few days, if noone wants them here I will try to sell them on Ebay. If they don't get bought there, then I will keep them

At least if they dont get sold, you will keep them, unlike the total Twaddle Twat here in Australia who said "They will get smashed up if they dont sell".

I'm interested in your early A500 chap, what kind of price would I be looking at for shipping across to the UK?

Thanks.

hehe guys, as a collector I would never ever trash anything C= related

@spajdr: shipping the A-1200 to Chech Republic is 15,- GBP (~19,- Euro)

@Paul s: shipping the A-500 to UK is 15,- GBP as well, but without psu (I don't think I have any spare A-500 psu left, but I hope you already got one from another Amiga ?!)

cheers guys !

, PSU is no probs as I have an ATX adapter here

I don't get paid until the 18th of next month so if it's still available around then I'd gladly take it off your hands.

Don't feel you have to keep it for me if anyone else wants it though in the meantime.

ja! I don't mind, it'll be going in the wardrobe of Amigaville for the collection. those early cases are quite rare. Don't see so many of them about Kickstart 1.2

Oooh, I have a red LED German built A500 with a UK keyboard, I didn't know they were that collectable; I bought it as part of a job lot I paid £4.99 for last year that also included an A500+ and some other gubbins.

I've also got an early German built, silver case badged C64 that's going to be heading to Overdoc in Austria very shortly....serial no. 23234 so it's definitely an early version .

Well, it is not just the red led and kick 1.2, this was on all A-500 until 1988 or even 1989, I think.
What identifies them as really the first ones from 1987 is the C= key and the missing C= badge, it is just molded into the case Btw, the C= key was also visible on the original box

@Merlin: thanx mate, I'm looking forward to it! will send your package tomorrow morning
