Looking for old classic NAMCO arcade fonts
I'm looking for the old classic 8x8 arcade coin-op fonts that were used in many 80's arcade games, and not only by NAMCO ones (Pacman, Galaga... or Arkanoid, Bubble Bobble, etc.) . I browsed Aminet but didn't find anything.
And before starting to draw these fonts by hand, I would like to know if someone has any clue if these fonts are available for the Amiga (and where I could find them ? |

Run in mame.
Find the text in the memory and rewrite it to display the alphabet instead Do a screen grab Well thats how id try and do it anyway, not actually tried it though. |

Big-Byte: That font has been scaled, it's 447 x something weird. Easiest way is to run MAME, hit F4, right arrow until the font appears, F12 to save it. Done!

That Mame tip is great. Im now trying various games to see if I can rip some graphics for my shoot em up game Im writing (Ill probably die before I finish it though - progress is that slow.)
