Old thread revivals for new EAB members!
After seeing Rattus's post asking who Marz was, I thought that some of the new(ish) members to EAB should see some of the history of EAB & about the longtime members & "infamous" members of this board. However, I really have to give credit to Fred & Bloodwych who've discussed this topic before, so rather than take any credit,I suggest you look here instead....
For Fred's "The History of EAB" http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5621 And Bloodwych's great "Threads you considered Gems" http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4017 And another short though historical thread.... http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=505 And last but no least, although not done by Marz himself, I think anyone who remembers him will appreciate this classic thread by Codetapper!! http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...ght=Robot+Wars Maybe we should give thought to a "History of EAB"....-revive Fred's post & discuss it!! |

Sadly, many early Cody threads have been lost forever, due to deletion by barbarians!
The discovery of the very first carved-in-stone EAB message thread. The news that New Zealand Story's Tiki The Kiwi was not a kiwi thread. And the more recent Cody's Amazing News Stories 1. They exist now only in the memories of all who were there! |

Here's a couple more threads to add....
"Game Endings" by Tim... http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...0&pagenumber=1 And another classic topic thread by Fred.... http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...0&pagenumber=1 @Cody. Don't tell me that classic "1st posting" got deleted! That backdrop to it was so funky-surely RCK must have it somewhere! EDIT: Just found an example from the archives of Akira & Marz engaged in another witty, intellectual debate! C'mon Akira, you miss him don't you?! http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1525 And Marz calmly reacting to a possible Miggy fault.... http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1568 And here's a classic Akira thread "How does your game room look like?" http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1726 Last edited by 7-Zark-7; 12 November 2002 at 07:18. |

This is when Marz tried to return as RentACoke, after being banned, and Cody The White had to sacrifice his life for the good of the EAB Fellowship:
Nick Faldo's Golf - Ministry crack (It all got nasty at the end, but it was all sorted out and everyone lived happily ever after! Er, except Marz) |

I wonder if we shall ever see Rapman again?? His reaction was extremely funny (to me anyway). And this should be a lesson to us all, ALWAYS have the full facts before making an ass of yourself Last edited by Ian; 12 November 2002 at 12:03. |

@Ian. Everytime I read that thread, I think of The Simpsons episode where Homer's been banned from Moe's tavern & a well-dressed Homer-a-like character goes into Moe's the night after..
"Homer, who is theeese Homer?" Thanks for that thread Cody, any further one's from the archives mods? Search your old threads/replies & see what's survived! Found 3 more threads.... Steve's "The Amiga's most Bizarre games... http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1551 Another great Bloodwych thread "The EAB oldtimers thread" http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5628 And Twistin' talks about the "Birds 'N Bees"!!! http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2634 EDIT: Also thought to add what must still rank as the most requested Amiga game to this day.... Riempe's "A tiny bit of Putty Squad news"... http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...0&pagenumber=1 John Twiddy, I'm sure there's some members here who'll happily volunteer to try & find your sourcecode files/disks etc.!
