Amiga Tower right angled adapter problems
I have two towers and was having a problem with one of them the sound wasn't working properly so I decided to switch. The other tower didn't have a right angled adapter in it so I decided to swap it with the one in the other tower. Without removing the amiga mobo the adapter would not fit so I decided to file it down to fit it easily. Now it won't work all I get is a device opening error even though the light on my netgear wireless card is on.
When filing I don't think I damaged anything on the board. Anyone got any ideas why it isn't working? If I've damaged it is their a cheap place to buy one, I've seen them but as usual since its amiga hardware they want fancy prices for them. |

Concidering how easy it it to damage the pcmcia port and especially the adaptor id say its a sure thing that its damaged.
would have been so much easier to just take the motherboard out im sure. I have a power tower with ppc and mediator attached and the whole lot just lifts out on the backplate |

Its not exactly a modification. All I did was file some of the board off so it would fit. As far as I know I've not touched anything on the board that was critical to it working.

what do you mean by filing ? did you cut the board
as far as I know, a1200 mobo is a multilayer pcb, meaning there might be tracks underneath even though you can't see them from the surface. |
