Forcing windowed games into full screen mode
Has anyone found a way to switch windowed Windows games to full screen mode at their native resolution? I've come across a few indie titles that don't have maximize buttons and where the usual tricks fail to achieve anything e.g. alt + enter. Surprisingly, punching the screen doesn't work either, unless the aim is to make your knuckles leak.
Obviously you could change your desktop resolution to match, but that would be conceding defeat. |

Borderless Gaming can scale some windowed games to a full-screen borderless window.
For older games there is DxWnd and dgVoodoo2 which can also fix many compatibility issues. |

I've never heard of any of those so plenty for me to investigate there, thanks very much.

Absolutely. In the interests of gathering solid empirical data I tested this hypothesis using multiple monitors comprising various designs and manufacturers.
