Thanks guys!
Agreed with DamienD, do let me know of any bugs or oddities. Per Ola Eriksson was able to skip through the entire balloon sequence by walking through walls, I didn't realize that was possible. The second level from the Atari 8 bit version is one possible update, there's several other possibilities too: - The 4X levels from the arcade game (maybe simplified a little bit) - The exclusive level from Wolron's PC remake - Something else maybe? |

If it were up to me: I would like the arcade port. The graphics are already all there for 80%. The dynamics of the character is almost perfect, when he falls from a platform it is the same as the arcade, the jump is ok, the feeling is already there! The music should be redone. However, I understand that it is not such an easy job to complete, and that in any case it is the author who decides how to direct the development. Okay anyway, I'm happy with what's already there

also, the balloon should explode touching the spikes and the other platforms, not only the birds. third, but this is only a personal opinion, i would like that 'key shaped' checkpoint changed with the original 'cross shaped' one, to not create misunderstandings (it's not a key to grab ); a sound fx passing over it should help too |

The hobby game dev in me is really curious about this tiny little insignificant thing.
Why in the screenshot of the first post is the little root at the bottom of the left tree painted on top of the dirt path and then the tree on the right the root falls under the dirt path. You'd think they both be painted the same but this game is working some magic apparently |
