Your link takes us to a PPC version. There are already very competent Amiga 68k Quake ports.
Have you looked at them? If so what do you find wrong with them? |

I have an original Quake CD-ROM for MAC by MacSoft. When I tried to install the game on Amiga Shapeshifter it gave me an error saying that the game requires PPC MAC to run.
The CD is dated 1996. |

Hmm... The download is probably the PPC version then.

Does anyone actually have any evidence of a mac 68k version? Google has failed me in my search...

Im downloading the archive posted by prowler
let's see what happens btw, there are some mac games which originally the cdrom had 2 executables 1 for ppc and the other for 68k ..example "Black thorne" personally I haven't any evidence of a quake 68k port, maybe there is a mistake on MAC GARDEN ? plus there were 4 different versions of Quake to download I wonder what kind of differences had |
